Project Phases:

1. Phase I – Strategic Development

   • Prepare the Education Infrastructure Master Plan.
   • Create guidelines incorporating NBC, WASH, and Inclusion Standards.
   • Develop Quality Assurance (QA) and Monitoring Framework.
   • Conduct stakeholder consultations.
   • Identify infrastructure needs and investment priorities.

2. Phase II – School-Level Planning

   • Develop master plans for 87 community schools.
   • Conduct site surveys and prepare base maps.
   • Create architectural designs with cost estimates.
   • Ensure procurement-ready technical packages and compliance with standards.

3. Phase III – Quality Assurance

   • Verify compliance with guidelines.
   • Support the Municipality in monitoring quality.
   • Maintain M&E dashboard.
   • Conduct final evaluations and knowledge transfer sessions.

Roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical coordination for structural planning and design criteria.
• Formulate structural standards and NBC compliance framework.
• Review existing building conditions and classify infrastructure types.
• Provide design parameters for school typologies (low-rise, multi-storey, retrofitted).
• Develop QA checklist for structural design and safety assessment.
• Provide capacity building to municipal engineers.

Other Information

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in building design, assessment, and infrastructure planning.
• Proven record in school or public infrastructure design.
• Excellent command of NBC, ACI, IS, and BS standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and reporting skills.
